Greenlenders in Denmark

By ‘Greenlanders in Denmark’ is meant persons who were born in Greenland but resident in Denmark. A little more than half of the group has family ties where one or both parents were born in Greenland. There are more women than men. Almost half have lived in Denmark for a continuous period of more than 20 years.

The statistics are based on the CPR register and other registers at Statistics Denmark. StatBank Greenland's tables are updated once a year.
